Now with millions of people living on Long Island, an expanded and more effective transportation infrastructure is elevated to a higher degree of importance. We must have trains that more effectively serve the entire Island. Airport capabilities need to be supported. This requires a lot of money. These were just some of the challenges that were addressed by the ALI Transportation Task Force.
